Chemical grouting is used to control manhole leaks in manholes, pump stations and underground vaults. Holes are drilled through the wall of the structure near the leaks and grout is injected into the voids and outside area of the manhole or structure. As the grout is pumped, it reacts with the water to form a gelatin-like mass. This mass provides a seal for years to come.
